Smart Appliance

Gives you control over every stage of cooking. Remotely preheat, monitor and control the microwave oven with the KitchenAid™ App or with simple voice commands through your Google Assistant or an Alexa-enabled device, leaving your hands free to create.

Two LED Lights with Night Light Setting

Provide two levels of brightness, allowing you to illuminate the entire cooking surface below with natural-looking light or subtly accent the kitchen with a soft, inviting glow.

Flush Built-In Design

Stainless Steel Covered Grease Filters

Conceal aluminum mesh filters behind a sleek stainless steel panel for a fully finished look. Filters use multiple layers of screening to help capture the grease and odors of high-heat cooking and remove for easy cleaning with soap and water.

Provides a seamless built-in look within a standard 12 ¾” deep cutout. When closed, the microwave door fits evenly with surrounding cabinet fronts, so your kitchen stands out, not the appliance.

Microwave Cooking Modes

Steam Clean Mode

Provide convenient presets for popular cooking tasks, including cook, reheat, soften, melt and defrost. The microwave will automatically adjust cook time and power levels for different foods and beverages, taking the guesswork out of choosing settings.

Backlit Touch Controls

Uses the power of steam to help loosen cooked-on food without the need for harsh cleaners. After running this cycle, just wipe down the inside of the microwave with a damp cloth.

Illuminate when in use and fade unobtrusively into the sleek black glass of the oven door when the oven is off. A full-color LCD display makes it easy to see and select cooking modes, temperatures and cook times.

Toast Mode

With included toasting pan combines direct heat from a toast element on the bottom of the oven and indirect heat from a grill element in the top to achieve your preferred level of browning, eliminating the need for a countertop toaster oven.

Bake Mode

Uses dual heating elements to bake at temperatures up to 450°F, eliminating the need for a countertop convection or toaster oven. The included oven rack fits a 9" x 13" pan.

Turntable-Free Design

Maximizes cooking space for large dishes or multiple items at the same time. A hidden motor circulates microwave heating throughout the entire oven, eliminating the need for a traditional turntable.

Broil Mode

Uses a grill element in the top of the oven to broil at temperatures up to 400°F, eliminating the need for a countertop toaster oven. The included oven rack fits a 9" x 13" pan.
