Product Overview

Cinematic Sound, Made For Your Home

Designed for today’s big screens, BRAVIA Theatre Trio’s three-unit system delivers wide, immersive sound. Through collaboration with Sony Pictures Entertainment, we’re bringing home immersive sound, optimized for cinema content.

Three-Unit System. One Immersive Experience.

Introducing a simple home theatre system that matches the scale of even the biggest screen. Left and right speakers wrap you completely in immersive sound, while a dedicated center ensures dialogue is clear, making every scene feel cinematic.

Sound Shaped with Sony Pictures Entertainment

Created in close collaboration with Sony Pictures Entertainment, this system brings studio-crafted sound into your home capturing the emotion and detail intended by filmmakers.

Tuned With Sound Creators

Fine-tuned in collaboration with sound creators at Sony Pictures Entertainment, the BRAVIA Theatre Trio carries the same philosophy as professional film sound creators do. The result is a system that makes movies sound true to their creators’ intent

Add More Cinema. Dual Subwoofer Playback.

Connect two subwoofers for a stronger, more balanced low end. The increased sound pressure fills the room with deep bass that’s powerful, stable, and unmistakably cinematic.

Rewriting The Rules Of Surround Sound

By combining physical and phantom speakers, BRAVIA Theatre Trio creates a surround field that stretches wider than the screen, delivering cinematic immersion that pulls you into every scene.

Ultimate Surround with 360 Spatial Sound Mapping

Experience the ultimate in home surround. 360 Spatial Sound Mapping technology creates up to 24 phantom speakers around the room, enabling cinema-style surround sound with just a handful of physical speakers.

Enjoy Wider Surround Sound Coverage

Now more people can enjoy the same immersive surround experience. By using phantom speakers, 360 Spatial Sound Mapping technology achieves wider coverage than conventional virtual surround systems

Built With the Expertise of Sony Pictures Entertainment

360 Spatial Sound Mapping was developed using studio environments at Sony Pictures Entertainment where films are created, transforming your space to bring films closer to the way they were meant to be heard.

A Cinema Speaker Layout at Home

Phantom speakers are positioned based on a cinema speaker layout, as used by professionals at Sony Pictures Entertainment, creating a spacious surround field that captures the scale and immersion of the big screen.

Recreates Cinema Acoustics at Home

Developed in coordination with Sony Pictures Entertainment, 360 Spatial Sound Mapping not only simulates direct sound from speakers but also reproduces reflected, indirect sound—capturing the acoustic characteristics of a real cinema to recreate a dense, cinematic sound field.

Unleash The Full Potential Of 360 Spatial Sound Mapping

Add optional wireless rear speakers for an even more expansive sound stage. Working with the rear speakers, BRAVIA Theatre Trio delivers even more immersive surround from behind you for that authentic movie theatre feel.

Sound Straight from The Movie Theatre

Bring authentic movie theatre surround sound quality to your living room. BRAVIA Theatre Trio not only supports industry-standard formats including Dolby Atmos® and DTS:X®, but also has IMAX® Enhanced certification.

IMAX® Enhanced Sound by DTS:X

You can enjoy a truly cinematic experience with select Disney+ titles on BRAVIA and BRAVIA Theatre, powered by IMAX Enhanced technology

Makes Everywhere the Best Seat

It doesn’t matter which seat you’re in. It doesn’t even matter what your room’s acoustics are like. Sound Field Optimization lets everyone experience movie theatre surround sound.

Great Surround Starts with Better Acoustics

There’s more to great surround sound than signal processing alone. Your physical speakers need to deliver exceptional acoustic performance too—and BRAVIA Theatre Trio doesn’t disappoint.

Fits Your Room, Fills It Like a Theatre

Designed for any room, this system delivers cinematic sound wherever it’s placed. Flexible setup, uncompromised surround.
